Troy Black:
Hey y’all, this is Troy Black and I’ve got my friend Jonathan Cahn with me today. He’s going to be talking about The Mystery of the Avatar. In this new book he’s recently released, he gives a warning to America, but also a hope for America. And he ties into this mystery some of the recent events and political happenings over the last couple of years with Joe Biden, President Trump, and Kamala Harris.

Jonathan Cahn:
The Avatar has to be the most explosive book I’ve ever written. Behind it is another realm. These are ancient mysteries behind modern events—the spiritual realm, a realm of forces, or what the Bible calls “gods,” which we mean as spirits. Everything from the assassination attempt on Trump to the outcomes of elections are determined by this template. Behind each leader in America, there’s an ancient biblical template that matches their lives, events, and even timing.

Troy Black:
Does this tie into some of your other books? I’ve read several of them and I’ve seen a theme and a pattern there.

Jonathan Cahn:
Yes. The Return of the Gods and The Paradigm connect to this. The Avatar is taking it to another level. The patterns keep unfolding. For example, when Israel turned away from God, they had kings and queens who were part of that fall. These kings and queens serve as prototypes or templates for actual American leaders right now. Behind each president or leader is an ancient king or queen from Scripture, and the parallels are precise—down to scandals, events, and even dates.

Troy Black:
What about Joe Biden? How does he fit into this?

Jonathan Cahn:
Biden’s main prototype is King Jehoram. Jehoram was weak. His reign was marked by border incursions, just as America’s borders are now open. He oversaw a disastrous military pullout—Israel from Edom, Biden from Afghanistan. During Jehoram’s reign, invaders came from what is now Gaza and took hostages, just as Israel has faced today. Toward the end, Jehoram became physically impaired—paralleling Biden’s health struggles.

Troy Black:
What about Kamala Harris?

Jonathan Cahn:
The concept of the Avatar is that someone embodies or represents a god. In India, avatars were believed to come from one family—the house of Brahman. Kamala Harris descends from that line. Her family name, Gopalan, is tied to avatars. Her first name, Kamala, is the name of an ancient goddess. Her middle name, Devi, literally means “goddess.” She was born on Sharad Purnima, a day when Hindus celebrate the goddess Kamala. So while the world chanted Kamala in honor of the goddess, Kamala Harris was born.

Troy Black:
And Donald Trump’s birth?

Jonathan Cahn:
Trump was born on a Friday—the Sabbath. Every Sabbath has an appointed Scripture. The Scripture for his birth reads that God commands to bring forth a trumpet into the world. The word “trump” means a trumpet—loud, jarring, a vessel used by God. In the ancient world, trumpets drove out spirits and false gods. So from his birth, Trump was appointed as a vessel to roll back the agenda of the gods.

Troy Black:
You also mentioned the assassination attempt on his life. How does that tie in?

Jonathan Cahn:
In the ancient priesthood, consecration involved being marked with blood on the right ear, right hand, and feet. During the assassination attempt, blood touched Trump’s right ear. He raised his right hand and touched the blood. His shoes were removed when he fell. From that day, counting Hebrew days, the seventh day arrived when he was invested with the Republican nomination. The timing is exact. It marked him, not as a priest, but as a vessel set apart for a purpose.

Troy Black:
What would you say to people who accuse those who don’t accept this date of being like the foolish virgins in Jesus’ parable?

Jonathan Cahn:
That’s actually the opposite of what the parable teaches. The virgins didn’t know exactly when the bridegroom would come. To say, “He’s coming at 7:00,” and only prepare for that time is dangerous. Readiness isn’t about guessing dates. It’s about being filled with the Spirit and living ready at all times.

Troy Black:
Amen. That’s so good. And I think the encouragement for every believer is that Jesus is the hope of America, and He’s still the hope of the world. The signs remind us of the urgency, but the mission remains the same: preach the gospel, reach the lost, and live ready.

Jonathan Cahn:
Exactly. If there’s one message I’d leave with everyone, it’s this: God has appointed you for this time. Don’t waste it. Use this window for revival, for prayer, and for living a life surrendered to Him.
