The Department of Homeland Security has disclosed new images from the shooting at the Dallas ICE facility, where a man fatally shot two detainees and injured another. The shooter, identified as 29-year-old Joshua Jahn, opened fire from a nearby building before taking his own life.

Bullet holes are visible in an office window and a glass-encased American flag at the scene. Tricia McLaughlin, an assistant secretary in the DHS, emphasized the sacrifices of ICE officers, stating, “They are fathers and mothers. Sons, and daughters, brothers and sisters.” The DHS also confirmed the gunman targeted an unmarked van near the facility.

FBI Director Kash Patel shared evidence photos, including rifle-caliber ammunition engraved with an “anti-ICE” message. Authorities reported that Jahn fired indiscriminately at the ICE building and the van, where three detainees were shot. One survivor remained in critical condition. Jahn was found dead on a nearby rooftop with a rifle.

Dallas Police Chief David Comeaux noted investigations are ongoing into Jahn’s possible residence in Durant, Oklahoma. No further details about his motivations have been disclosed.
