Turning Point USA has unveiled its lineup for an alternative Super Bowl halftime show designed to compete with Bad Bunny’s upcoming performance. The “All-American Halftime Show” features Kid Rock, Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice, and Gabby Barrett.

In a statement, Kid Rock described the project as approaching the event like “David and Goliath,” noting that competing with the pro football machine and a global pop superstar is almost impossible. “Competing with the pro football machine and a global pop superstar is almost impossible…or is it?” he added.

Turning Point USA spokesman Andrew Kolvet stated the alternative broadcast aims to provide families with another viewing option. He emphasized it would be an immersive, high-energy experience allowing viewers to feel “up close and personal,” with no agenda other than celebrating faith, family, and freedom.

The Super Bowl on February 8 will feature the New England Patriots against the Seattle Seahawks, with Bad Bunny headlining the official halftime performance—a choice that has drawn criticism from President Donald Trump and others. At the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, Bad Bunny spoke critically of ICE, stating: “ICE out.” He continued: “We are not savage, we are not animals, we are not aliens, we are humans and Americans. The hate gets more powerful with more hate. The only thing that is more powerful than hate is love. So, please, we need to be different.”

The Grammys became a political hotspot as at least a dozen artists—including Billie Eilish, Olivia Dean, Justin Bieber, Hailey Bieber, Carole King, Teddy Swims, Joni Mitchell, Finneas, Samara Joy, Lachi, and Kehlani—wore pins reading “ICE OUT.” Bon Iver wore a bright orange whistle on his lapel to honor “observers” in Minneapolis who patrol streets and blow whistles when Immigration and Customs Enforcement is near.
