A 26-year-old man from Skiatook, Oklahoma, has been convicted on ten felony charges for repeatedly threatening to murder U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents on social media platform X. Logan Christopher Murfin was found guilty by a federal jury in the Northern District of Oklahoma after posting messages that likened ICE officers to Nazi Gestapo forces and demanded they be “gunned down” and “executed” to avoid repeating the Holocaust.
According to court records, Murfin’s posts under the username “Azulenq” included statements such as: “Ice agents are reenacting ww2 nazi germany and its not acceptable. Only good ice terrorist is buried 6 feet under.” and “Every ICE agent needs shot between the eyes ‘just following orders’ isn’t acceptable.” The jury convicted Murfin on five counts of Threatening to Assault and Murder Federal Law Enforcement Officers with Intent to Impede, Intimidate, Interfere, and Retaliate and five counts of Interstate Communication with a Threat to Injure. Each count carries a maximum sentence of up to ten years.
U.S. Attorney Clint Johnson stated: “Threatening to kill hard-working federal law enforcement officers will not be tolerated.” Travis Pickard, HSI Dallas Special Agent in Charge, added: “This verdict underscores the seriousness with which threats against federal agents are treated.”
The investigation began after Homeland Security Investigations received an intelligence report in October 2025 flagging threatening posts about “gunning down” ICE agents. Agents obtained search warrants to identify the user and determined the account was linked to Murfin, who admitted during questioning he was angry and “pissed off” at ICE agents and made the posts following reports of other users’ comments about ICE enforcement activities.
Murfin was released on bond prior to trial but was taken into custody after the jury found him guilty. Sentencing is scheduled for a later date.
