An arrest warrant has been issued for actor Tyrese Gibson following allegations that his dogs killed another dog in his Atlanta neighborhood. Fulton County Police Captain Nicole Dwyer stated the warrant for cruelty to animals stems from an “ongoing issue” after multiple complaints about the dogs. Court documents claim Gibson’s four Cane Corso dogs were seen roaming the area and attacked a neighbor’s cavalier King Charles spaniel, referred to as “Henry.”

Henry’s owner reported finding the dog dead in his driveway after letting it out at 10:02 p.m. The animal had injuries including blood on the rib cage, broken ribs, puncture marks, and severe internal bleeding, according to a report. Security footage showed four cane corsos approaching Henry’s home. Later that night, another neighbor called animal control after the dogs blocked her from accessing her vehicle. Officers arrived and escorted her to safety.

Dwyer emphasized concerns about community safety, questioning what might happen next if large dogs continue to roam unchecked. “What’s next? A child?” she asked. Police had previously warned Gibson but could not locate him at his home. Dwyer said she contacted his lawyer last week, urging him to turn himself in by Friday.

Gibson’s attorney, Gabe Banks, stated the actor is cooperating with authorities and made “the difficult decision to rehome his dogs to a safe and loving environment.” The actor was not present during the incident, according to the statement. A search warrant for Gibson’s property was executed on September 22, but he and the dogs were absent.
