The gunman who killed two detainees and injured a third at a Dallas Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility on Wednesday morning has been identified as 29-year-old Joshua Jahn. FBI Director Kash Patel confirmed investigators found a bullet at the scene marked with “Anti-ICE” inscriptions. Additional details emerged about Jahn’s vehicle, which was discovered with a map affixed to its right rear quarter panel depicting areas of the United States affected by radioactive fallout since 1951.

The map, described as a printout featuring text stating “Radioactive fallout from nuclear detonations have passed over these areas more than 2x since 1951,” appeared to originate from research by Richard Miller. It highlighted regions traversed by two or more radioactive clouds from Nevada nuclear tests between 1951 and 1962. Jahn opened fire from a rooftop near the Dallas ICE office on Wednesday morning, killing at least two migrants and wounding another before taking his own life. Bullet casings near his body bore the “Anti-ICE” markings.

Jahn’s parents reside in Fairview, Collin County, where FBI agents and local authorities conducted investigations. Records indicate no prior violent criminal history for Jahn, though he was arrested in 2015 for marijuana possession. Authorities confirmed the incident occurred during a routine processing operation at the ICE facility.
