Charlie Sheen’s recent media appearances have drawn significant attention, particularly as he promotes his new memoir, The Book of Sheen. In the book, the actor recounts a 1980s encounter with former U.S. President Bill Clinton, then governor of Arkansas, during the filming of Three for the Road in Little Rock. Sheen describes the meeting as surreal, noting that Clinton gifted him a pair of “tacky” Razorback shoes symbolic of Arkansas’ sports teams.

Sheen claims that during the event, Clinton allegedly expressed interest in his then-girlfriend, actress Dolly Fox. According to Sheen, co-star Alan Ruck overheard Clinton whispering to an aide, “Find out what you can about the brunette,” referring to Fox. Sheen wrote that while he felt uncomfortable with the objectification of Fox, he also found it amusing that Clinton, known as “Bubba,” had taken interest in her. Ruck later relayed the incident to Fox, who reportedly laughed it off.

The memoir also delves into Sheen’s past struggles with drug addiction and its impact on his personal life. Sheen reveals he engaged in sexual relationships with men during this period, a topic he addresses candidly in both The Book of Sheen and a Netflix documentary released in September 2023. He describes the experience as “liberating” and emphasizes his decision to confront his past rather than conceal it.

Additionally, Sheen shares details about contracting HIV during his drug use and facing extortion from individuals who discovered his medication. He ultimately disclosed his status on Today in 2015.
