The FBI has been urged to release all Discord messages from Tyler Robinson, a suspect in the assassination of conservative pundit Charlie Kirk. Recent revelations include conversations between Robinson and acquaintances hours after the shooting, where he allegedly made light-hearted remarks about his alleged involvement.

A friend of Robinson attached FBI-released surveillance images of a man resembling him to a group chat, asking “WYA” (Where you at?) with a skull emoji. Robinson responded that his “doppelganger” was trying to “get me in trouble.” Another user joked, “Tyler killed Charlie!!!!” shortly after the murder.

The messages, shared by an individual who knew Robinson from high school, show no clear motive for the shooting but highlight the suspect’s apparent disregard for the gravity of the crime. A friend suggested turning Robinson in for a $100,000 reward, to which he replied, “Only if I get a cut.” He also joked about disposing of a rifle and a manifesto.

Robinson was arrested 34 hours after the killing following confrontations with his father and a youth minister. His friends on Discord expressed shock, with some questioning whether the accusations were genuine. The suspect is expected to face formal charges soon.

The case has sparked debates over the motivations behind the attack, though no direct links to political affiliations have been confirmed. Robinson, described as intelligent and socially active online, was registered to vote but not affiliated with any party. His parents are identified as Republicans.
