A convicted serial killer on death row has confessed to murdering 26 women in a new documentary, revealing chilling details about his crimes. Joseph Naso, sentenced to death in 2013 for killing four women, now claims he killed 26 victims, according to a forthcoming Oxygen series titled Death Row Confidential: Secrets of a Serial Killer.
The revelations emerged from conversations between Naso and William Noguera, a fellow San Quentin inmate who spent over a decade building trust with him. Noguera recounted how Naso initially dismissed investigators’ claims about a “list of 10” women, only to later clarify that the list was not his full tally. “They got it all wrong,” Naso reportedly said. “Those aren’t my top 10. Those are my top 10.” He then revealed he had killed 26 women.
Noguera described finding a coin collection with 26 gold heads in Naso’s home, which investigators believed symbolized his victims. The documentary also highlights Naso’s dual life as a Little League coach and school photographer who took photos of women appearing to be dead, including six confirmed victims. During interviews, Naso repeatedly evaded direct answers about the “list of 10,” insisting he did not know the identities of some described victims.
The film premieres Sept. 13 and includes footage of Naso’s interactions with Noguera, who claims to have documented every detail of his confessions. Investigators previously uncovered a hit list containing cryptic descriptions of female victims, but Naso’s new admissions suggest far greater atrocities. The documentary aims to shed light on the extent of his crimes, which remain under investigation.
