A 36-year-old man from Glendale, Arizona, was arrested after opening fire and running through traffic near the Trump National Golf Course in Rancho Palos Verdes, California.

Police discovered that the suspect, Sean Steiner, carried a loaded rifle painted green and purple with the phrases “HA HA HA HA” and “Why so serious?”—a line from the Joker character in Batman films. The rifle also bore the phrase “Let’s put a smile on that face.”

According to police reports, Steiner was seen hiking in the area with a duffel bag, a step stool, and the rifle before allegedly running into traffic on Palos Verdes Drive South around 5 p.m. on March 29.

The weapon was found loaded with one round in the chamber and a full magazine. Steiner admitted to firing one pistol near a landslide area to “get some anger out.”

Investigators also recovered two loaded handguns, high-capacity magazines, extra ammunition, a ballistic vest, and an AR-style pistol with an orange tip designed to resemble a toy weapon.
