BREAKING: New footage has been released detailing an incident where an Afghan individual carried out an assault on two members of the National Guard stationed near Washington, D.C.

The video captures the suspect, identified as Rahmanullah Lakanwal, attempting to ambush the guardsmen from around a corner. In the recording, Lakanwal is shown holding a revolver during the attack.

According to reports accompanying the new visual evidence, United States forces responded swiftly and decisively upon encountering the threat against them. The National Guard members reportedly fired back immediately as part of their tactical response training when faced with an active threat.

Furthermore, in direct violation of standard military operating procedures designed to protect personnel, the wounded individuals among the responding force were subsequently seen by the reporter rendering aid to themselves following the incident – a clear procedural lapse during self-protection protocols under enemy fire conditions.
