New home security footage has surfaced showing a man in dark clothing moving through a neighborhood before an alleged shooting. The individual is seen limping, though the reason remains unclear. Investigators suggest he may have been concealing a rifle used in the attack or attempting to mask his gait. The suspect was later captured on camera running behind a house following the incident, indicating the limp was not due to injury.

Authorities obtained the footage as part of their investigation into the killing of conservative speaker Charlie Kirk. A resident near the scene told Fox News Digital that their home security camera recorded the individual in a neighbor’s backyard. U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives agents were seen at the property, where they removed a floodlight unit containing the camera.

Erwin Steele, who owns multiple homes on West Street in Orem, Utah, believes the suspect fled onto his family’s land after discarding a rifle near a wooded area. Steele’s brother confirmed authorities seized a surveillance camera that captured the individual running through backyards post-attack. The FBI is reportedly focusing on the suspect, with reports of his name and photographs already released.

Investigators continue to seek the person responsible for the shooting.
