A two-time Grammy-winning country artist known for his comedic style has been released from the hospital following a serious fall that resulted in a broken neck. Ray Stevens, 87, is now recovering with doctors advising him to wear a neck brace for approximately four weeks.
The incident occurred on Sunday, and despite the injury, he remains fully mobile and in good spirits as he continues his rehabilitation.
Stevens’ upcoming album, “Favorites Old & New,” scheduled for release this Friday, has maintained its debut timeline. The project will include classic hits such as “The Look of Love,” “It Had To Be You,” “Come Rain or Come Shine,” “I Guess You’ve Never Been in Love With the Moon,” and “Time Machine.”
The circumstances surrounding the fall have not been disclosed. Stevens had previously suffered a mild heart attack in July 2025, which was followed by successful heart surgery.
