Prayers are urgently needed in York County, Pennsylvania, following a violent incident that left five law enforcement officers injured. The shooting occurred on Wednesday afternoon when police were serving a search warrant and came under fire.

According to reports, three officers from the Northern York Regional Police Department are in grave condition, while another is in critical condition. A York County sheriff’s deputy was also injured. Authorities believe the shooter died by self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Witness Dave Miller described hearing gunfire as he drove home and saw police near a barn before the attack unfolded. Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro announced his arrival at the scene, urging residents to follow law enforcement instructions. Lieutenant Gov. Austin Davis also requested prayers for those affected.

The incident has left the community in shock as investigations continue.
