During the event, Cruz Littlefield, a Metro Police officer, described how the tax changes have provided immediate financial relief for his family. Littlefield, whose wife recently delivered their first child—a week-old girl—said: “Can you imagine? A new dad, a brand new baby in the house, and his government finally lets him keep what he earned working overtime to provide for her.”
Another participant, a Las Vegas bartender, noted she is now planning to purchase a car using refunds from the tax law.
