Country star Zach Bryan escalated a public dispute with fellow singer Gavin Adcock during the Born & Raised Festival in Pryor, Oklahoma, by attempting to breach a barbed wire fence to confront him. The incident unfolded after Bryan, 29, reportedly shouted threats from behind the barrier, demanding Adcock, 26, open the gate for a physical confrontation.
Videos shared on social media capture Bryan scaling the fence before being restrained by security. In one clip, Bryan yelled, “Do you wanna fight like a man? Open the gate,” while another shows him shouting, “If they open up this f—ing gate, I’ll f—ing kill you.” Adcock’s response, audible in the footage, was, “Come on over here and meet me with a world of hell buddy.”
The altercation occurred amid an ongoing feud between the two artists. Adcock had previously criticized Bryan on X for his reaction to a teenage fan’s online remarks, questioning why Bryan “can’t handle the criticism of a 14-year-old.” Bryan responded with a deleted message that included the phrase “GOMD” (“Get off my d—”), which Adcock later addressed on the Nashville Now podcast. He accused Bryan of projecting a false public image, stating, “Sometimes he can’t help but rip it off and show his true colors.”
Security intervened as Bryan climbed over the fence, preventing further escalation. No injuries were reported, but the incident highlights the intensifying tensions between the country musicians.
