Donald Trump Jr. and Bettina Anderson are set to exchange vows over Memorial Day weekend in front of a small gathering of family and friends on a private island in the Bahamas.
The couple had previously been reported to consider delaying their wedding until the conclusion of an ongoing conflict, but they have now opted for a more intimate ceremony.
An Enchanted Garden-themed bridal shower was held at Mar-a-Lago in April. The event, which was attended by Ivanka Trump, Lara Trump, Tiffany Trump, Marla Maples, and Kai Trump (Donald Trump Jr.’s daughter with ex-wife Vanessa Trump), was hosted by Palm Beach socialites Yaz Hernandez, Amy Phelan, and Audrey Gruss. Other guests included Daphne Oz, Dina Powell McCormick, Dee Ocleppo Hilfiger, Andrea Wynn, and Amy Baier.
Donald Trump Jr. delivered a toast at the shower stating: “I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with Bettina. She is smart, loving and caring.”
The couple became engaged in December when Donald Trump Jr. popped the question at Camp David during Anderson’s birthday celebration. A source described the Mar-a-Lago event as “gorgeous,” noting it was held mostly indoors but with some guests hanging outside.
First Lady Melania Trump did not attend the bridal shower.
On April 15, Anderson shared a post on Instagram reflecting on the event: “Still soaking in how beautiful and special Sunday was. To be surrounded by so many women I love and admire, and feel so grateful to have in my corner, meant more than I can say 🥹 Thank you to my INCREDIBLE hostesses, Audrey, Amy, and Yaz, for creating such a thoughtful, elegant, and love-filled day… I’m still floating! 🤍 @donaldjtrumpjr I cannot wait to marry you!”
Additionally, a political source previously indicated that the White House had been considered as a potential wedding venue. The rationale was that it would position both individuals for future political roles. However, this option has not been finalized.
