President Trump expressed his thoughts on Los Angeles mayoral candidate Spencer Pratt before boarding Air Force One Wednesday afternoon, stating he would like to see the reality star “do well” in his race and criticizing California’s election system as “rigged.”

In remarks to a reporter, the former president said, “If we had Jesus Christ come down and count the votes, I would have won California.”

The comments follow speculation that Trump might endorse Pratt, who has seen recent gains in polls. Los Angeles Councilmember Nithya Raman, a socialist-linked candidate running against Pratt, previously told supporters on social media that “Donald Trump is about to endorse Spencer.”

Pratt, who has faced criticism for claiming he lives in a trailer rather than the Bel Air Hotel, recently released a video remixing the theme song of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, contributing to his viral presence.
