The Los Angeles mayoral count has continued beyond Election Day, with late and overnight mail-in ballots significantly impacting Spencer Pratt’s lead.

A recent analysis of the late ballot updates reveals that Nithya Raman is gaining ground on Pratt, narrowing his margin to 37,307 votes after a critical shift in the latest counts.

The data shows that in the past 24 hours, Karen Ruth Bass added 10,981 votes, Spencer Pratt added 5,967, and Nithya Raman added 8,961. This resulted in Raman gaining 2,994 votes on Pratt, reducing his lead from 40,301 to 37,307.

This pattern has drawn significant attention as conservative voices have highlighted the consistency of the late count movement.

Matt Van Swol described the late ballot breakdown as “literally impossible,” questioning how nearly every late California vote could go to anyone but Pratt. A vocal group characterized the overnight mail-in gains as a “steal happening in front of everyone.”

With mail ballots accounting for 71.86% of the votes counted so far and voter turnout still at 23.69%, the ongoing count remains critical. An estimated 322,000 votes are yet to be counted.

Pratt currently holds a lead that is real but vulnerable as the race enters its final stages. The outcome of the next wave of late ballots will determine whether Pratt’s position holds or if Raman closes the gap further.
