Actor Tom Holland was rushed to the hospital following a mishap during a stunt on the set of “Spider-Man: Brand New Day.” The 29-year-old actor sustained a mild concussion and is taking a temporary break from production. He was treated at the facility and later released.

A female individual, believed to be a stunt double, was also transported to a hospital via ambulance. Filming at Leavesden Studios in Watford, Herts, was halted on Friday, with reports suggesting the pause could last weeks. Production of the £150 million film has been suspended for at least a week, according to sources.

Holland’s father, comedian Dominic Holland, confirmed his son’s absence from filming during a charity event in Mayfair, where Tom and fiancée Zendaya, 28, were present. The movie’s release date of July 31, 2026, remains unchanged despite the pause, as production is scheduled to resume September 29.

The accident occurred at Pinewood Studios near London, with no other cast or crew members injured. Production had been based at the London location for most of September, contrary to earlier reports linking it to Glasgow, Scotland.
