Dilbert creator Scott Adams has publicly appealed to President Donald Trump for help in securing urgent medical treatment for his metastasized prostate cancer. Adams, who revealed his diagnosis on Sunday, stated that his healthcare provider, Kaiser of Northern California, has delayed scheduling a critical IV administration of a newly FDA-approved drug called Pluvicto.

In a post on X, Adams described his declining health and expressed frustration with the slow response from his medical team. “I am declining fast,” he wrote. “I will ask President Trump if he can get Kaiser of Northern California to respond and schedule it for Monday. That will give me a fighting chance to stick around on this planet a little bit longer.”

Adams emphasized that while the treatment is not a cure, it has shown positive results for many patients. He noted that Trump had previously offered assistance, prompting his direct appeal. The White House responded swiftly, with Deputy Chief of Staff Dan Scavino confirming that Trump, along with Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Dr. Oz, had been briefed on the matter.

Adams’ plea highlights a growing trend of high-profile individuals seeking political intervention in healthcare access. His case has drawn attention to the challenges patients face in navigating bureaucratic delays for life-saving treatments.
