Florida Congressman Maxwell Frost has claimed he was punched in the face during an incident at a party held during the Sundance Film Festival in Utah on January 23.
In a social media post, Frost described how a man approached him and stated that President Trump intended to deport him before striking him with a punch. The assailant was also alleged to have made racist remarks as he fled the scene while intoxicated.
According to Park City Police Department records, Christian Young was identified as the individual who assaulted both Frost and another woman at the private event. Young reportedly entered the gathering unlawfully after being initially turned away by security personnel.
Frost reported that he sustained no injuries and expressed appreciation for the assistance provided by venue security and local law enforcement during the incident.
