Jack Schlossberg, the grandson of former President John F. Kennedy, is exploring a potential run for New York’s 10th Congressional District seat, following Rep. Jerry Nadler’s announcement that he will not seek reelection. The 32-year-old social media personality and Yale and Harvard graduate has expressed openness to entering the race, though no formal decision has been made.

Schlossberg, son of former diplomat Caroline Kennedy, has gained attention for his political commentary and YouTube show, which he records from a van. He has also drawn criticism for mocking conservative figures, including a recent viral video in which he impersonated First Lady Melania Trump. In the clip, Schlossberg donned a fake blonde wig and exaggerated her Slovenian accent while reading her letter to Russian President Vladimir Putin. He mocked the message’s clarity, joking about its lack of substance and referencing U.S.-Russia diplomatic efforts.

The potential candidacy comes as Nadler, a longtime Democratic figure, steps down after serving for decades. Schlossberg has not publicly detailed his political platform but has previously criticized family members, including his cousin Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and openly targeted conservative figures on social media.
