The roommate of Tyler Robinson, the individual accused in the shooting of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, has been identified as 22-year-old Lance Twiggs, who is cooperating with law enforcement.

Robinson, who was living with Twiggs in a three-bedroom apartment in Saint George, Utah, shared a large Discord chat group with his roommate. Investigators obtained incriminating messages from the platform, including discussions about the location of a rifle linked to the attack and plans to engrave bullets. Twiggs provided these texts to authorities, leading to Robinson’s arrest.

According to reports, both men were students at Utah colleges and shared interests in gaming. Twiggs’ TikTok bio described him as “Becoming TikTok pros one terrible video at a time.” Daily Mail sources noted that they were part of a close-knit group of friends who frequently interacted on Discord.

Utah Governor Spencer Cox stated the investigation has indicated Robinson was “deeply indoctrinated with leftist ideology,” though no official motive has been confirmed.

Lance Twiggs’ family has declined to comment on claims that he is transitioning or that his relationship with Robinson involved transgender elements. His grandfather, Jerry Twiggs, told Daily Mail he could not verify the rumors and had not spoken to his grandson since authorities interviewed him. “After he was with the police, he’s been at his house, and there’s no way for us to contact him other than going over there,” he said.

The case continues as investigators examine the extent of Twiggs’ involvement and the dynamics between the two men.
