The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has initiated an “intense investigation” into the deaths of children following COVID-19 vaccinations, according to Commissioner Dr. Marty Makary. Families have long sought answers for the sudden, unexplained fatalities of their healthy children after receiving the vaccine, a crisis now acknowledged by government officials. The FDA is reviewing autopsy reports, interviewing families, and analyzing data from the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS), which lists 202 child deaths post-vaccination. However, experts suggest the true number may be significantly higher due to widespread underreporting, a flaw the FDA has admitted.

The investigation follows years of resistance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), which Makary claimed obstructed data access. He revealed that individuals who later resigned from the CDC initially hindered efforts to obtain critical information. VAERS, the government’s adverse event reporting system, is criticized for its low reporting rate—less than 1% of incidents are documented—and a 2022 audit found one-third of COVID vaccine injury reports were hidden or deleted. Analyst Albert Benavides noted that child deaths may be undercounted due to vague “unknown” age categories in VAERS records, with summaries indicating three times more fatalities than official figures.

Medical professionals and advocacy groups have pressured the FDA to act, with Dr. Peter McCullough calling the probe “very late” and urging an immediate halt to vaccinations until results are clear. Mary Holland of Children’s Health Defense expressed relief at the investigation but questioned why it took so long. The FDA’s decision to end emergency use authorization for vaccines, restricting them to high-risk individuals, signals growing skepticism about their universal necessity. Makary highlighted that 85% of healthcare workers skipped last year’s booster, reflecting declining confidence among medical professionals.

The probe has raised concerns about suppressed information, as parents recount children dying shortly after vaccination only to be dismissed by officials. A 7-year-old girl’s death, attributed solely to “complications from coronavirus infection” on her certificate, underscores the lack of transparency. The CDC has not released an official count of vaccine-linked deaths, leaving families to rely on VAERS reports and limited whistleblower accounts.

The FDA plans to release findings soon, but after years of delays and secrecy, questions remain about whether the public will ever learn the full truth.
