A viral video capturing a young boy balancing on a suspended monorail track nearly 100 feet above ground has left visitors in shock. The incident occurred inside Hersheypark in Pennsylvania, where the child was seen wandering away from his parents and carefully navigating the narrow metal structure. Onlookers shouted and waved urgently, urging him to move toward a nearby building. A man eventually climbed onto a roof to assist, guiding the boy to safety before relief spread among the crowd. The park later confirmed the boy was reunited with his family.
This follows a separate tragedy at the same location last month, where a 9-year-old girl drowned in the Boardwalk attraction. According to a coroner’s report, her death was ruled an accidental fresh water drowning. Despite the presence of 100 lifeguards, including those monitoring the wave pool, emergency responders were unable to save her. The incident marked the first confirmed guest fatality at the park in its 118-year history.
