Last night, conservative journalist Nick Sardar was attacked by ANTIFA in Portland as he attempted to document events, only for Portland Police to arrest him instead of the violent individuals involved.
Karoline Leavitt announced that President Trump has ordered Pete Hegseth to deploy active-duty troops to Portland to end what she described as a “reign of terror” in the city. Leavitt also revealed plans to reclaim federal funds allocated to Portland.
Trump emphasized his commitment to making American cities safe, citing his success in restoring order to Washington, D.C. He stated that similar measures would be implemented nationwide, including in Portland, where he claimed radical left-wing groups have devastated the community.
Leavitt highlighted disturbing video footage of ANTIFA militants assaulting ICE facilities, using a stop sign as a battering ram, hurling projectiles at law enforcement, and even displaying a guillotine near an immigration office. She condemned the violence, stating that Portland’s police had failed to address the chaos.
The Department of Justice is investigating Sardar’s arrest after he was detained while defending himself against ANTIFA attackers. Leavitt criticized Portland authorities for allowing “left-wing mobs” to dictate who can reside in the city, vowing to restore order through federal intervention.
Trump directed his team to review potential cuts to aid for Portland and pledged additional resources, including enhanced CBP and ICE support, to combat what he called anarchy. “Law and order will prevail,” Leavitt asserted.
