As the New Year approaches, President Trump has set a bold resolution for the year ahead: “Peace on Earth.”
Upon arriving at his Mar-a-Lago New Year’s Eve celebration, a reporter asked the president about his intentions for 2026.
“Mr. President, do you have a New Year’s resolution?” the reporter inquired.
Trump responded with his pledge: “Peace. Peace on Earth.”
The president, dressed in a tuxedo, later spoke to reporters outside the ballroom, where First Lady Melania stood nearby in an elegant silver gown. Inside the event, Trump declared the country is “doing great,” adding that they are “back” and “strong.” He also vowed to investigate allegations of widespread welfare fraud in Minnesota before handing over the stage to a live painting artist.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu attended the gathering, having recently met with Trump on issues related to the Gaza ceasefire agreement.
