Despite Iran’s extremist leaders refusing to yield, mounting evidence indicates that pressure from US and allied forces is becoming too great for the regime to manage.

Reports indicate Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian submitted a letter of resignation to the Office of the Supreme Leader on Sunday. The letter stated that the president and his government had been excluded from major decision-making, rendering it impossible to govern effectively or fulfill legal responsibilities. As a result, he requested immediate stepping down.

According to reports, this vacuum has enabled hard-line factions within the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) to assume control of key affairs. It remains unclear whether Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei will accept Pezeshkian’s resignation.
