President Donald Trump recently joked about persistent death rumors during a White House Rose Garden event, dismissing media coverage as “very good lately” but criticizing the spread of false speculation. The remarks came after Trump missed a press conference, sparking reports questioning his health and survival.

Trump recounted how the absence from a single press event led to exaggerated claims, stating, “They said … I got to the club, ‘Sir, are you okay? Are you okay?’ The fake news was at it again.” He later held a three-hour press conference to address unrelated topics, including renaming the Department of Defense to the Department of War.

The president also praised Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX), calling him an “unbelievable doctor,” and cited Jackson’s assertion that Trump was the healthiest among former presidents. Trump added, “I said, I love that guy. I’m sure that Bush and Obama don’t feel the same way, but who the hell cares?”

This is the second time Trump has addressed the rumors, which have persisted despite his public appearances and statements.
